LEAD Training for Inter Religious Council

Within the context of #EU4Democracy in Ethiopia fully funded by the European Union, the PEV Ethiopia project has implemented a 3-day Leadership and Conflict Management Skills for Electoral Stakeholders Training (LEAD) in Addis Ababa between October 16 and 18 for members of the Inter-Religious Council members from Hawassa.

This training is organized in respect of the Sidama Referendum and meant to equip the trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the electoral process in Ethiopia. A special session has been dedicated to election observation covering topics on international and regional legal instruments supporting election observation; Role, rights and obligations of election observers and how and what to observe.
