The 6th General Election Pilot Voters List Digitization and Voters Register Audit Project's official launching Ceremony

The 6th General Election Pilot Voters List Digitization and Voters Register Audit Project's official launching was a success! We are honored to be supporting The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia with their Pilot Voter List Digitalization (PVLD) project.

His Excellency, Mr. Wubeshet Ayele, the Deputy Chairperson of the NEBE, acknowledged and thanked all partners, particularly the European Center for Electoral Support, Germany, and the EU for their contributions to this project during his opening remarks.

Following that, Mr. Diriba Megersa, the IT manager for the NEBE, provided a summary of the Pilot digitization project before opening the floor to representatives of various political parties and Civil Society Organizations to raise questions on the digitization process during a Q&A session.

The launch ceremony culminated with a live presentation of the complete digitization process, including data entry, verification, and encoding.
