Training of Trainers for NEBE’s Field Trainers

Preparations for the upcoming referendum continue!

Under the EURECS-Ethiopia project, ECES is supporting the NEBE in conducting orientation training and a series of cascade trainings on voter registration for the upcoming referendum scheduled to be held in six zones and five special woredas in SNNP Regional State. The beneficiaries of the trainings are election officers and staff to be deployed in 11 branch referendum offices, 31 coordination centers, and in more than 6,000 polling stations where voters will be registered and cast their referendum ballots.

A team of experts from NEBE, ECES, and IFES are facilitating the series of voter registration cascade trainings for the referendum, held in two rounds in Arbaminch from December 6–9. With the aim of reaching more than 350 Field trainers and 18,750 poll workers, this training will be cascaded to 26 training centers over the course of several rounds.
