NEBE's First Lessons Learned Workshop

 

The first of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia’s Lessons Learned exercises commenced on the morning of February 25, 2022, at the Hub Hotel in Addis Ababa. This workshop is the first in a series that will run until March 20th, 2022 with several stakeholders including members of the Board, staff, regional office heads, political parties, election observers, civil society, federal and regional government officials, judiciaries, security, and legal bodies, and partners such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).

 

These stakeholders have convened to discuss the achievements and challenges of the 2021 legislative elections. The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia's institutional reform process between 2019 and 2021, and the evolution of Ethiopia's broader electoral environment.
