Webinar 13 August 2020

Within the context of the democratic package in Ethiopia (EU4democracy), the EU and German Cooperation funded project, the EURECS-Ethiopia held a webinar session on the online Master Program in Electoral Policy and Administration (MEPA) for the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia’s (NEBE) enrolled staff members. Facilitated by ECES experts Zefanias Matsimbe, David Lenotre and Alain Chabod ,the session was held on 13 August 2020 for eight NEBE staff members enrolled in Module 1: Elections and Voting as Instruments of Governance.
MEPA was integrated into the EURECS project as a response to COVID-19. The Master program aims at enhancing the electoral knowledge of NEBE, providing them with comparative knowledge that can be deployed in their work and preparations for the upcoming elections. This activity directly benefits 29 staff members of NEBE from the HQ and regional offices, where three of them are enrolled in the full master program.
The webinar was also attended by ECES staff who will accompany and support MEPA participants in their learning journey.
