HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY!
Under the Patronage of H.E. Eng. Musa Maaytah, Chair of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Women's Empowerment, the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs celebrates International Women’s Day today.
The minister appreciated the leading role that women play in the ministry and in the public sphere. He also honoured the female employees for their leadership role in the social, cultural and political life of Jordan.
MoPPA works in close partnership with the European Union Support to Jordanian Democratic Institutions and Development Project (EU-JDID)- Component 3 that is implemented by the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy to enhance women and youth inclusion and to foster a stronger democratic and tolerant political culture.
