The launching of the 15th International Electoral Symposium

 

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Abduallah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Independent Election Commission, in cooperation with the International  Centre for Parliamentary Studies and the European Centre for Electoral Support, launches the 15th International Electoral Affairs Symposium on Monday, with the participation of around 60 different organisations working in the field of enhancing democracy, 50 electoral management bodies from Middle East and the rest of the world for a total of more than 200 representatives of the internaitonal democratic and electoral community 

 

The symposium aims at exchanging the experiences among the democratic societies and electoral management bodies on the regional and international level, which will contribute to improving the management of the electoral process at all stages. Delegations will provide detailed presentations on the experiences of their respective countries and on the bodies and organisations involved in the management of the electoral process. On the sidelines of the symposium, which will take place until the fifth of this month, many workshops and sessions will be held in which experts and specialists will discuss election related matters.
