RIA workshop

A training is held this week in coordination with OECD experts on Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA).

 

RIA is a tool designed to help systematically assess potential impacts of newly proposed and existing laws.

 

Passing legislation is a core responsibility of #Parliament and this training will help the HoR to strengthen its capacity to provide an evidence-based approach to law-making and oversight.

 

In the workshop, participants learned about different approaches to RIA in countries such as #Portugal and #Croatia, tools for measuring costs and benefits among other topics
