YPCA - Call for Applicants
The EU Support for Jordanian Democratic Institutions and Development (EU-JDID) Project - Component 3 'Support to Political Party System' (implemented by the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD)) in cooperation with the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs (MoPPA) has announced the opening of the fourth batch of the programme “Strengthening the capacities of young members of political parties and civil society actors (YPCA)".
This programme is part of EU-JDID's effort to support the political party system in contributing to democratic governance and policy making in particular in the House of Representatives.
Participants will benefit from experts' training and thematic sessions on the following topics:
- Democratic theory
- Countries, Parliament and Parties
- Political analysis
- Electoral campaigns
- Leadership in political action
The programme will be held over a period of 5 months (November 2020 - March 2021), whether face to face or through online technology.
It aims to help the youth build the strong skills and advanced knowledge knowledge base for the concepts and political practices on which the proposed topics will be based.
Conditions for participation:
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old
- To be an active member in a political party and/or political work
- Interested in the Jordanian political field
