3-DAY WORKSHOP ON POLITICAL PARTY MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION IN ENUGU FROM 7 - 9 APRIL 2021
Empathy: A strategic managerial tool, understanding the dynamics of Nigeria's political parties through an Electoral Political Economy Analysis, Campaign finance tracking and methodology including the use of technology: A case study of the 2019 Presidential Election and the 2020 Edo and Ondo State gubernatorial elections, Guidelines on EPM activities and managing political parties in Nigeria: Setting the agenda for 2023 General Elections are topics covered during the #INEC workshop on Political Party Management and Administration organised for staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Nigeria's Election and Party Monitoring (EPM) staff from the 17 states of the Southern region. This activity which holds from 7 - 9 April 2021 is the second in a series that saw INEC EPM staff from the 19 Northern states hosted in a similar event from 29 - 31 March 2021.
This activity is organised by our partners, the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) within the EU funded Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria (EU-SDGN) programme, also with in collaboration with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies’ Political Parties Leadership and Policy Development Centre (NIPSS-PPLPDC).
It is expected that the skills acquired during this workshop will assist the INEC staff in carrying out oversight functions and monitoring of political parties.
