Advocacy Visit to National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)

This activity was held to intimate the NHRC leadership of the EU-SDGN project. This visit allowed TAF to review its activities for year 1 and also seek partnership with the commission towards the achievement of inclusion for persons with disabilities in the political party system in Nigeria.

In attendance of the activity were representatives from the Albino Foundation (TAF), Joint National Association of Persons with Disability (JONAPWD), NHRC and the media. Amongst the achievement of this activity was the creation of an MOU between TAF and NHRC, invitation of the NHRC Chairman as a guest for the EU-SDGN live radio program “Disability Inclusion”.
