LEAD TRAINING FOR JOURNALISTS - 05.11.20

Dakar, 5 November,

"Strategy for the prevention of electoral conflicts and the role of the media in the electoral process - LEAD", a training organised by ECES, together with the DGE - General Direction for Elections, in the frame of the project in Support of the Electoral Process in the Republic of Senegal (PAPES).

The training is bringing together, for 2 days, representatives of the media, #DGE, #CENA (the body in charge of the supervision of elections), #URAC (The union of community radios), #CNRA (National audiovisual regulation council). Discussions were held around the electoral cycle and the role of the media on each step of the process, the prevention of the possible conflicts, and the challenge for the journalists.
