LEAD Training for Youth-led CSOs

A two-day Post-Election LEAD workshop for youth-led Civil Society Organizations working in Addis Ababa was held by the European Centre for Electoral Support and its implementing partners on November 25-26, 2021.

Representatives from a range of CSOs attended the program, Others Perspective Initiative, Rejoice Africa, Girl Up Addis Ababa, Empowering Next Generation, YALDA Ethiopia, and others. On the first day of the training, this group of young leaders focused on the fundamentals of leadership; on the second day, participants learned about the electoral cycle, negotiation and mediation, and key concepts of digital media literacy.

The workshop was held in Addis Ababa at the Hub hotel. This action was carried out as part of the Prevention, Mitigation, and Management of Electoral Conflicts and Potential Violence in Ethiopia – PEV – Ethiopia, fully funded by the European Union and Implemented by the European Centre for Electoral Support.
