Simultaneous LEAD Workshops in Diredawa

The European Centre for Electoral Support – ECES conducted simultaneous Leadership and Conflict Management Skills for Electoral Stakeholders – LEAD workshops in Diredawa, Ethiopia.

The LEAD workshops in Diredawa were conducted within the context of the Prevention, Mitigation and Management of Election related conflicts in Ethiopia – PEV Ethiopia Project fully funded by the European Union, were held from 18-21 May, 2021.
 

Over 70 Participants attended the workshops; the participants were drawn from Civil Society Organisations working with Youth, Women and PWDs in different parts of the country at a grassroots level. This action seeks to enhance the Leadership capacity of the participants, their knowledge of the Electoral cycle and the roles they play towards peaceful elections and building a strong democratic culture.
