Tumelo Lephalala is a project officer for ECES. She holds a degree from the University of Pretoria, in South Africa, where she majored in economics and statistics. She has experience in statistical data analysis and report writing and has assisted with projects ran through the University of South Africa. She is passionate about making a difference and hopes that by looking at trends and forecasts that she will be a valuable member of the team.

She speaks fluent English and 5 of the 9 official South African languages; Sepedi, Sesotho, Isizulu, Setwana, Afrikaans.
