Joël Minoungou is a Junior Project and Communication Officer at ECES. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International and global studies that he acquired at Juniata College, a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, USA. He recently obtained his master’s degree in international relations with a graduate certificate for International and Non-Governmental organizations (INGO) from Webster University in the Netherlands.

He is a former intern at the Department of Political at the African Union Commission (AUC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he was closely engaged with the constitutionalism and rule of Law cluster. An internship that was worthwhile as it brought him to experience within a continental organization but also as it is linked with the current work done by ECES who signed and MoU with the AUC with whom they work to offer electoral assistance in countries in Africa.

Moreover, he developed an affection for human interaction and travels through his stay in various countries like Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, the USA, France, or the Netherlands. He is fluent in Mooré, French and English and have some notions in Spanish and Amharic.
