Marek is a Project & Communication Officer at ECES. He is a French-Polish junior electoral expert who graduated from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the London School of Economics, and the College of Europe. His specialism spans various topics such as electoral observation and assistance, theories of democratisation, and democracy building, as well as EU foreign and development policies.

Before joining ECES, Marek worked as a Junior Project Manager at a consultancy specialised in EU development cooperation and foreign policy. Before settling in Brussels, he worked as an international election observer for various organisations (OSCE/ODIHR, Carter Center, UNDP, Democracy Volunteers) in several countries such as Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Türkiye, the UK, and Papua New Guinea.
