Ebere Mbaegbu joined CLEEN Foundation in 2013. As a Program Officer in the Public Safety and Security Unit, Ebere works with security experts, technical assistance providers and stakeholders across the country to strengthen capacity of law enforcement and change agents in delivering programs targeted at improving safety and security in urban and rural areas of Nigeria. He was also the assistant to the project lead and administrative officer of the Justice for All program (Dfid) and served in a variety of strategic planning and implementation role on the delivery of the programme component which strengthened the services and accountability of Voluntary Policing Sector (VPS) in Nigeria. Ebere was the project officer in charge of the delivery of a project that promotes peace and security between herdsmen and farmers in the South Western region of Nigeria. Previously, he served as a program assistant at CLEEN Foundation, where he participated in Business Proposal Writing and Grant Making, Election Security Management Projects, Field Research and Administrative activities. He is a certified participant of programmes organized by the European Union (EU), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) West African Civil Society Institute (WACSI), Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) and others. Ebere is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Project Management (CIPM), holds a Post Graduate diploma and in Project management and a Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance, from Abia State Polytechnic.
