The Project Steering Committee will be responsible for the overall oversight and coordination of the project at higher level, including financial oversight and approval of funds’ allocation.

The committee will provide policy and strategic orientation. The Committee will be composed of the National Authorising Officer, representatives of the Delegation of the European Union and high-level representatives of the project’s beneficiaries.

It will meet at least on a bi-annual basis. Further meetings can be organised whenever deemed necessary. This mechanism will ensure the overall relevance of the action to the general objective as well as its compliance with donors and beneficiaries’ requirements and needs.

The EU-SDGN Project director as well as the project directors of other components will be part of the steering committee as observers and the project management unit of EU-SDGN component 1: support to INEC will serve as Secretariat.
