EU- JDID

The project is based on the European Response to Electoral Cycle Support Strategy (EURESC), an innovative aid delivery mechanism designed by European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES), as well as on the lessons learned from projects funded by the European Union and European Union-members states implemented in Jordan by the Consortium members.

The project, which is composed of four components is managed by two entities, a consortium which is led by ECES and includes four European non-profit organisations: European Partnership for Democracy (EPD), Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WfD), Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) and French Agency for Media Cooperation (CFI), and the fourth components which is managed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)

The programme has a budget of 17.6M EUR of which 14M EUR are funded by the EU, 2M EUR by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation and 737,995 EUR by the ECES led Consortium.
