Continuity with Previous Actions

The programme will take into account the lessons learned from the previous EU funded democracy support projects and will pursue to amplify positive trends supported by the implementing organisations' previous work in Jordan. 

Past EU-funded programmes, on democracy support in Jordan, have been studied in great detail, in order to ensure continuity and coherence with previous actions that have generated good results and to fill the gaps of previous shortfalls.

Most notably, the project design has been informed by activities implemented by consortium partners in Jordan, such as Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), French Agency for Media Cooperation (CFI), Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WfD).
