Lubna Mahadeen is the Country Representative (CR) and the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) at Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), leading WFD’s programmes in Jordan, driving implementation, strategy, business development, collaboration with colleagues in the region, and provide support to WFD programs, regional events and activities conducted in Jordan. Involved in policy discussions with key stakeholders, building relationships with donors. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in Parliaments, political parties, local partners, academics, experts, CSOs and other leading democratic institutions in the country.
 

She holds a Master degree in Public Administration - Policy and Governance (MPA) from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, an MBA in Finance from the German-Jordanian University in Jordan, a Bachelor degree in Business Administration Political Science from the University of Jordan, and certifications in Supervision & Management and a Mediation from Seattle, Washington.  Multilingual with proficiency in English, Arabic, French, and qualified in American Sign Language.

Plus she's a Certified Mediator since 2001 in Washington State-USA with a specialization in “Government, Intercultural Relations/ International and Workplace”, and “Managing & Facilitating Multi-Party Disputes”, A member with “Washington Mediation Association” (WMA), and a certified Notary Public for the State of Washington.

Between 2014- 2016 she worked as a Consultant/ Deputy to the Program Manager in providing Program Management Services for a $275 million Infrastructure Program funded by a grant from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
In 2006 to 2010, she worked as a Mayoral appointee, served as a Chair of the Seattle Human Rights and a Chair of the Commission’s Appeal Panel in the City of Seattle, Washington advocating for justice and equal opportunity. 
In addition, she Working with City council, elected officials, city departments and advocates. 
In 2007 to 2014 Lubna served as a board member with the Women and Democracy Center in Seattle, Washington and a member of the Moroccan Political Delegation led by the Washington Majority Senate Leader, Senator Lisa Brown in the Washington State Senate.
